I thought I'd start up a Thread about useful apps/programs I have used/discovered for my Macintosh.

I'll try and post a different app weekly that other Macintosh owners may find useful.

This week it’s Smooze fdfdfdf.png - https://smooze.co/ Control the speed over your scroll wheel, since this is not built into macOS.

This week it’s iu.png Default Folder X - http://www.stclairsoft.com/DefaultFolderX/ The one app I put on every Macintosh computer I have ever owned. Gives your dialog boxes real power.

Once you use it, you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

This week it's KeyCue mnb.png - http://www.ergonis.com/products/keycue/

kc_index.jpg

All your keyboard short cuts at your finger tips. Another app I don't use very often, but really comes in handy sometimes. Hold down the Command key and presto all the key combinations show up.

This week it’s Screen Shot 2020-04-24 at 12.10.28 PM.jpgUniConverter - https://videoconverter.wondershare.com This thing can convert just about anything to anything (audio/video), download videos, burn DVD's. The list goes on and on. I've been using it for years and it's always getting updated for the latest devices.

This week it's See the source image.png AirServer - http://www.airserver.com/Mac A nifty little app that allows you stream your iPad or iPhone to your computer. Not something I use a lot but comes in handy.

This week it's handyPrint150.png.png handyPrint http://www.netputing.com/handyprint/ . Ever wanna print from your IOS device to your non-AirPrint™ printer? Then this might be the solution for you. The nice thing is, you don't need to run an app on your IOS device. Just print like you would if you had an AirPrint™ supported printer.

I thought I'd throw in some hardware reviews when it comes to companies that make devices that don't make Apple computer owners/users feel like second-class citizens.

This week it’s iu.png Rival 310 mouse - https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/sensei-310

ytuutyut.png

it's not just that this is a great mouse, but that the software you use to configure the mouse doesn't leave you feeling like you're missing anything.

I'd like to find a good one for my iPhone that resizes pics since there is no setting on the iPhone. Let me know if you know of any.

This week it's Beamer brand.png - https://beamer-app.com

Wanna send video to your AppleTV™ or Chromecast™ without bothering with converting it to a native format? Beamer might be for you. Send an .MKV (and a bunch of other formats) video to your device without conversion.
