Thor’s hammer was destroyed by Hela.
I know that, and I don't give a shit. You being a lifelong Larry Lieberophile should know nothing is permanent in comic books. Least of all, death and destruction. Beyonders, Cosmic Cubes, tesseracts, time traveling/manipulation, alternate universes, etc nullify all that.

I will never ever be fooled or sold again on any other death or destruction for the rest of my comic book life. Whether it's Bucky Barnes or Jason Todd or Ben Reilly or Katar Hol or shields or hammers etc, anything is game for a reincarnation.

Or MAYBE Brie Larson is a See you next Tuesday...

Listen, you don't like her, you don't like her. I find it weird that fan boys are getting body language experts to look at videos of her. THAT is the type of stuff that gives "legit" critics of the movies a bad rap. Making it easy to ignore criticism of movies or bad business decisions (Kathleen Kennedy-Star Wars). At this point, there are people just scrutinizing her every move to see where she's "cunty". IDK. I think it's overkill.

okay so as some of you know I just saw the movie...
I give it a solid 9, amazing, truly flew by, and just, just wow.

some thoughts:
Thor:
giphy.gif

Captain Marvel is the most kick ass of all superheroes, and she can do no wrong in my eyes. I look forward to seeing her again.

I actually teared up in a few parts, its weird how you come to know characters, and as with GOT, we lose them as well....

3D meant nothing, I just happened to go to that one because it was available, but not needed.

I love him:
giphy.gif

Not being such a huge fan-girl, there are some holes I need filling (shut-up!) so I will wait until everyone has seen it until I discuss again.

well worth the time to see whenever you can, it was best movie so far this year, and I look forward to watching it again.

Sorry I do not have a @Horsetoothbeth hog-related movie review for you, I just think it's too soon...

Ok, I haven't read a thing in this thread, but my big prediction - which I've been milking since Avengers 1 and Age of Ultron, and I'm sticking to it. It's surrounding Steve Rogers probably faking (IMO) that he couldn't lift Thor's hammer (it actually budges) - from his pure-as-the-driven-snow humility. Steve knowing Thor would be humiliated that Cap is more worthy, he pretended he wasn't worthy in front of the other Avengers, to spare Thor the shame. Thor definitely suspects in AoU Cap has what Odin looks for, and what Mjolnir requires in terms of worth.

I predict, when all is lost, Cap will be the last man standing, and find a reserve spirit to see some version of Thor's hammer in his reach. He will finally wield it, and beat Thanos ass long enough to rally the troops for victory.

My addendum prediction - Cap will take Nick Fury's place as Head of SHIELD - with the moniker "Commander Rogers".

just like I gotta put up with that fucking Will Smith in every movie coming out in the next 3 years, you have to put up with her, or don't see it, either way, WGAS, movie was awesome...

The fact that she's here to stay no matter how failed is a big problem.
I'm not crazy about Fresh Prince, but at least he doesn't hate me for my gender and skin color.

Well, the best thing to do is to boycott her movies, and do one better and boycott the movie company. It works. Look at Ghostbusters.
I don't care for what she said. Quite frankly, my superhero movies aren't made for 20-something y.o. cunty broads---so don't see them. The sense of entitlement that some women feel where they need to interject themselves in is boggling. These movies, these comics were never for females, let alone adult females. SORRY. Marvel/Disney just wants more money because greed is insatiable, but quit forcing it. Have your female lead movies. I might even see them. But quit fucking shit up that is established for decades and decades.

Even with that being said, I think most guys on YT are way over analyzing. They do that for traffic, frankly. One dude is like "Did you see that blink!? Full of sarcasm! DAy-um!". I mean, come on.

Endgame Changed the Avengers Forever. Here's Who's in the Group Now

Still from 'Avengers: Endgame' featuring Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) and War Machine/James Rhodey (Don Cheadle).

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

The original Avengers team is done. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) first teamed up in 2012’s Avengers. Seven years later, they rejoined forces to travel back in time, collect all the Infinity Stones and use them to defeat Thanos in the fourth Avengers movie, Avengers Endgame.

But by the end of that movie, Iron Man and Black Widow had died. Captain America traveled back in time to live a peaceful life with Peggy (Hayley Atwell). Hulk looked too injured to seriously fight again. Thor gave up his crown and boarded a ship with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Hawkeye returned to his family and a life of semi-retirement. (Renner will appear in a show on Disney’s forthcoming streaming service Disney+ about Hawkeye passing his title to another hero.)

So who will protect the Earth from now on? Avengers: Endgame hints that a new super-team (who may adopt a new super-name) could take their place. We’re guessing that the Guardians team will remain independent in space, Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) will continue to rule over Wakanda, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will deal with magical threats and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) will continue to pull off small heists. We doubt any of them will become official Avenger. So here’s who will probably inherit the title of Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Captain Marvel

Brie Larson in 'Captain Marvel,' 2019.

Chuck Zlotnick—Marvel Studios
Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) has already proven herself to be the strongest hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Our guess is the Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) will show up at some point and convince Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, to stay on Earth and join a new initiative — at least for awhile.

Sam Wilson as Captain America

Falcon/Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) in Captain America: Civil War

Zade Rosenthal—Marvel Studios
At the end of the movie, Steve Rogers travels back in time to return the Infinity Stones to their former homes. He then decides to remain in the past and live out a peaceful life with Peggy. He eventually returns to the Avengers an old man, and passes on his shield (and the name Captain America) to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), previously known as Falcon. Disney is reportedly making a Falcon and Bucky Barnes series for its streaming service, so it’s unclear how this will affect Sam’s big screen fate.

Valkyrie
image

THOR: RAGNAROK. Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson)

Marvel
Much like Steve passes the baton to Sam, Thor bestows the responsibility of ruling the remaining Asgardians on Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson). That likely means that Valkyrie will also be responsible for taking Thor’s place in any sort of super team that develops. It’s unclear whether that means she will get to wield Thor’s hammer someday too.

Spider-Man
image

Columbia Pictures
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) had the chance to become a member of the Avengers back in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but chose to concentrate on school and patrol the streets of Queens instead. Now he’s returning to high school for his next film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, but as he ages he would be a good candidate for official Avengers membership.

Bucky Barnes
image

Marvel
Assuming that he can appear both in the streaming service and on the big screen, Bucky (Sebastian Stan) is likely to play some role in the team as well. He still is on a quest to make up for the bad things he did when he was brainwashed by HYDRA and turned into the Winter Soldier.

Scarlet Witch
image

Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch in "Avengers: Infinity War"

Marvel Studios
Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) is also reportedly getting her own show on Disney+. That doesn’t preclude her from a role in future Avengers films, but it certainly makes her less likely to show up in the big screen Avengers flicks than, say, Spider-Man.

Shang-Chi
When asked whether there would soon be an Asian superhero on the Avengers team, President of Marvel Kevin Feige confirmed there would be. That likely means that kung fu master and superhero Shang-Chi, who is reportedly getting his own solo movie at Marvel Studios, will join the Avengers, too.

Ms. Marvel
If Captain Marvel leads the Avengers team, you can be certain that Ms. Marvel will want to tag along. Though Marvel hasn’t confirmed that her movie is in the works yet, we do know they have some plans for the character in the MCU.

That would be a pretty shitty team and some weirdly illogical picks. Like why would Shang-Chi be on the Avengers but not War Machine? Rhodey is alive and well at the end of the movie and he would be a more natural replacement for Iron Man than Valkyrie would be for Thor.

The new Avengers movie should be Fury, Capt. Marvel and FalconCap putting together a new team with characters from the comics that are known Avengers finally being brought to the big screen.
Folks like: The Beast (would fill the big brain role that Stark leaves vacant while also being a good bridge to introducing the X-Men), Wonder Man, Spectrum, maybe bump up Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist to the movies so we never have to see a 13 episode series from those characters ever again.
