Do you listen to any Tony Martin Sabbath? Not terribly long ago, I listened to a bit of Eternal Idol, and I was so disinterested. I guess Im not that big of a "metal" fan, and the farther they drifted from the goopy stoner rock, the less engaged I was. I do like Technical Ecstasy a bit, though, which has them going beyond that sound, so who knows.

I have them all because I bought them as they were coming out, even the horrible one with Ice T on it. Just never listened to them much. The newest one I regularly listen to is 1983’s Born Again with Ian Gillan on vocals. That’s the tour I saw. Had tix for the next tour but the singer Glenn Hughes fell off the stage and broke something and they cancelled.
I guess I kind of missed the boat; I can't really get into much post-Ozzy Sabbath (even Heaven and Hell doesn't do much for me). Hell, I'm kind of apathetic on most Ozzy solo stuff. It just veers into a direction that comes off as dated to me.

Glenn Hughes
A lot of people like Glenn Hughes but he was a dope addict. Him and Tommy Bolin screwed up Deep Purple.
Last Ozzy album was better than Technical Esctasy IMO

Meh. I didn't love this. I thought Ozzy sounded a bit checked out.
It's not a bad record, but I'd side with Technical Ecstasy.
I always thought Bill Ward was a pretty decent vocalist.

Was supposed to be a solo album and Robert Plant was gonna sing a little on it but Iommi owed the record company another Black Sabbath album.
